Duchess of Akan Ghana Tribe Diaspora, Dr. Anita Mckaney is a disciplemaker for Jesus Christ. She is wife to Maurice and mom to two grown sons. She is a registered nurse educator by profession and mentors many into nursing. She is a Bible Teacher by commission and mentors many women in Titus 2 womanhood. In September 2013, she founded Wifestyle Image Network – a global network of women whose goal is winning souls and winning marriages through discipleship, mentorship and ambassadorship. As a Leader, she sits on the Boards of several faith-based non-profit charity organizations and is a licensed ordained Missions Minister. She is also the CAO of MytCreative LLC, and a Certified Human Rights Consultant. Holding a PhD in Chaplain Ministry, she volunteers as a member of the Disaster Health Services and Spiritual Care Teams of the International Red Cross.
Professor Mckaney holds several honors. She was acknowledged with both an Honorary Doctorate of Divinity in 2013 and a Doctorate in Humanitarianism in 2023. In addition, Her Excellency Ambassador Dr. Mckaney holds diplomatic status with the United Nations through Word of Life Ministries International (WOLMI), a non-governmental organization in special status with the United Nations’ Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). She uses this status for Humanitarian Diplomacy
Dr. Mckaney is also an established author. Her first book called “The Titus Ten” made the bestsellers list in evangelism on Amazon in 2016. It instructs women in ten things they should be striving to be and also to be teaching other women. It is the curriculum for her W.I.N. groups and E-studies. She authored “Anointed Devotions”, two 52 week journals that guide the reader in how to become saturated in the Word of God for themselves. In 2023, she co-authored a book for wives called “The Marriage Bed of Roses: Pricks, Passions and Perfumes”. She has collaborated on many books and is an avid reader.
During the week, you can find her as a professor teaching at her local nursing college or for her chaplain students, in ministry leadership with her husband at their local church, writing on their marriage blog (Walking Together Towards God), writing or reading. On weekends, she puts on her Ministry hat and facilitates women’s bible studies, traveling and speaking in conferences, churches and worldwide venues, volunteering and being active in community charities and global humanitarian efforts. Her eternal passion is her Savior Jesus Christ. Her love is her family. Her mission is making disciples.
